Rating User Bounties
This guide explains how the screenshot ("bounty") rating system works on JPSNT, and how you can use it to earn XP, build streaks, and contribute to the community.
What Is Bounty Rating?
On the Rate Bounties page, you'll see one randomly selected screenshot submitted by another user. These are bounty screenshots, uploaded as proof of earning trophies. Your job is to evaluate them across six specific categories. Think of it like a quick-fire review panel — you’re helping surface the best submissions.
Each rating category is shown with a row of emoji icons, from unimpressed to impressive. You’ll need to pick one for each of the following:
- Composition – How well is the shot framed?
- Lighting – Is it easy to see what’s happening?
- Visual Quality – Does it look clean, crisp, and readable?
- Relevance – Does it actually reflect the trophy it's tied to?
- Creativity – Is there anything unique or interesting about it?
- Timing – Was the moment captured at just the right time?
Only once all categories are rated does the Submit button unlock. Once you submit, you’ll be awarded XP, and the next unrated bounty (if available) will load automatically.

XP & Daily Rating Limits
Every bounty you rate earns you 50 XP. If you complete 20 ratings in a single day, you qualify to start or continue your daily streak.
For Free Users:
- You can rate up to 20 bounties per day.
- If you keep up a streak, you may unlock additional rating slots, up to a max of 30 per day.
For Premium Users:
- You can rate unlimited bounties.
- However, only your first 20 per day count toward your streak.

Streak System: Build It, Keep It, Earn More
If you rate 20 bounties in a day (or all that are available), that day counts toward your streak. Each consecutive day you meet the streak condition, your XP reward per rating increases:
- Day 1-2: 50 XP (no bonus)
- Day 3-6: 55 XP (+10%)
- Day 7-13: 62.5 XP (+25%)
- Day 14-29: 75 XP (+50%)
- Day 30+: 100 XP (+100%)
The longer you go, the more rewarding it gets. If you miss a day, the streak resets — unless you use a Streak Saver, which gives you a one-time pass. (Free users may earn one occasionally; Premium users receive two by default.)
If you’ve rated all available bounties and can’t reach 20 that day, your streak will still be preserved. The system knows when there’s nothing left and won’t penalize you.
If You've Rated Everything
When you hit the end of the available queue, you’ll see a message letting you know there’s nothing left to rate today. If this happens, and you've rated all that's available (even if it's less than 20), your streak will not be broken.
Good to Know
- You cannot rate your own bounties.
- Screenshots are presented randomly and only once.
- If you're on a free account and hit your daily limit, come back after the reset or upgrade to continue.
Why It Matters
This system rewards quality. Every rating you give helps elevate great submissions and makes XP feel earned through participation, not just uploads. Whether you're climbing the leaderboard or just trying to keep a streak alive, rating bounties helps shape the JPSNT community.
Stay consistent, rate with intention, and reap the XP.
